In 2025, ICEF Africa returns to Kigali for a specialist networking event connecting international educators with ICEF-screened recruitment agents from 25+ countries across Africa.

Sub-Saharan Africa has continued to show exceptional growth, with Nigeria consistently ranking in the top ten countries worldwide for outbound student mobility. Alongside Nigeria, 25% of Kenya’s youthful population is aged 18-36, while Ghana, Uganda, Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Zimbabwe, Senegal, Tanzania, and Rwanda have all seen increased student interest in studying abroad.

Held at ​​the Kigali Convention Centre from 25-27 June 2025, ICEF Africa provides a gateway to this important range of student markets.

Venue

ICEF Africa is held at the world-class Kigali Convention Centre. With iconic architecture echoing Rwandan culture, the dome-shaped auditorium holds 2,600 people and mirrors a hut in the King’s Palace, while the hotel exterior is designed to replicate a traditional, hand-woven basket.

With eighteen individual meeting rooms alongside the main auditorium and a dedicated events team, The Kigali Convention Centre is one of the region’s largest and most well-respected venues. It also offers first-class accommodation, and a range of restaurants in which to relax and network informally, making it the perfect venue for ICEF Africa.
