ICEF Monitor Global Summit: Dedicated to innovative practices that shape global student recruitment.

We’re pleased to announce our return to London for the third edition of the ICEF Monitor Global Summit, this time taking place in Central London (Victoria). Conveniently scheduled for the Monday immediately following the EAIE Conference in Glasgow, the summit brings together leading voices from across the international education community to identify, explore, and address the complex challenges shaping the sector today.

With its inclusive and interactive approach, the summit encourages peer-to-peer learning, with attendees showcasing examples of best practice from around the world. It is an opportunity to consider a diverse range of perspectives as well as to connect and collaborate with senior stakeholders from across the industry.

For this event, attending agencies must have IAS accreditation.

The Big Shift: A New Playbook for International Student Recruitment

Affected by more than two years of new policy settings across major study destinations and compounded by the ongoing impacts of the post-pandemic surge in student mobility, the landscape for international student recruitment has been profoundly reshaped.

The 2026 ICEF Monitor Global Summit will place a unique focus on the key themes driving recruitment this year and beyond, including:
  • The newly competitive landscape and the shift to the "Big 14” study destinations
  • What the changing student expectations for study abroad mean for recruiters
  • The conversion challenge: attracting and engaging best-fit students
  • Where growth will come from next
  • How the push for expanded TNE relates to onshore recruitment
  • The new context for quality assurance, managing risk, and regulatory compliance
  • Managing student comms across (many) more channels
