    Arrival in Manila
    Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL)

The Ninoy Aquino International Airport is the main international and domestic airport serving Metro Manila and neighbouring cities. The airport has four passenger terminals.

Terminals 1 and 2 handle all international flights to and from the Philippines whilst Terminal 4 is the Manila Domestic Passenger Terminal. Terminal 3 handles both international and domestic flights.

To learn more about Ninoy Aquino International Airport, please check out this link.

Transportation options from the airport to the Grand Hyatt Manila

We strongly advise that you use either the GrabCar ride-sharing app, an Airport Yellow Taxi or an Airport Coupon Taxi.

GrabCar – simply download the app from your Apple or Google Store apps and use it just like Uber. The advantage of using GrabCar is knowing from the outset what you will be paying.

Airport Yellow Taxi – is an airport metered taxi that charges a base fare of PHP 75 (USD 2), with an additional PHP4 for every succeeding 300 meters and an additional PHP4 for every two minutes of travel time. It may be easily found outside the terminal with its distinct yellow colour.

Note: The Airport Yellow Taxi is the only metered taxi company allowed inside the airport premises. However, they charge considerably higher than regular taxis. Make sure that you are aware that these yellow taxis are 50% more expensive than regular white taxis.

Airport Coupon Taxi – The coupon/voucher taxi is a secure option for passengers. The coupon taxis charge a fixed rate depending on your destination or drop-off point. The staff will give you a coupon that indicates the flat rate and the taxi dispatcher will record the taxi details.

Once you arrive at your destination, give the coupon to the driver and pay only the amount indicated on the coupon. Coupon taxis are available at all NAIA terminals.

Note: The advantage of taking the coupon taxi is that you already know how much you have to pay even before reaching your destination. Just approach the dispatch station across the Arrival Hall Exit with a big sign that reads “COUPON TAXI.” Dispatcher desks are available at all four terminals.

    Forwarding of Promotional Material

Your materials for ICEF Philippines can arrive from Friday, June 14 in Manila (but not before) allowing you sufficient time to check if your packages have been delivered correctly. Please contact a courier of your choice. It is very important that you include a proforma invoice. Inspections of deliveries with incomplete documents can take up to four weeks.

    Package Preparation
When calculating the amount of promotional materials to send to Manila please bear in mind that you will have a maximum of 38 pre-scheduled in-person meetings. Please refer to the Shipping Instructions & Delivery Label for detailed information, customs requirements and a delivery label template.

As we recommend to reduce the use of paper, you can also upload up to five documents (max size of 5 MB each), three videos (YouTube, Dailymotion and Vimeo links are supported) and up to eight photos (max size of 5 MB each) into your Marcom eSchedule PRO profile and make them available to agents prior to, during and for four weeks after the event.

    Sustainable alternatives

In addition, if you’d like to make an impression at your dedicated table here are some suggestions to help you stand out:

    • Branded table cloth.
    • Reusable table top roller banner.
    • QR code to your website/brochures/offers.
    • Sustainable giveaways for your potential partners.
    • No need for business cards – delegates can scan your v-card on the reverse side of your badge.
    • Laptops – power is provided at each table, take your partners through your presentations and videos.

Please also consider using local suppliers to cut down international shipping.

Please note that only organisations with an exhibit table may bring a pull up banner. We are unable to facilitate any form of pull up banner in the meeting hall space. All branding must be kept to table top items only.

Please be aware that although Wi-Fi will be provided, we recommend downloading your event materials, presentations and videos directly to your device for your meetings. This helps reduce GHG emissions and ensures the network traffic is not overloaded.

Additionally, section 12 mandates that any event, seminar, party, reception or tour organised before or after an ICEF event, with the intention of attracting or inviting event attendees, must be applied for and authorised no less than three months in advance please.
