The ICEF Middle East & Africa Workshop in Dubai is the region's only annual networking exchange for student recruitment professionals active in this dynamic, high-potential market.

The 5th ICEF Middle East & Africa Workshop in 2008 hosted 317 participants representing 219 organisations from 35 countries, growing by 8% as compared to the 2007 event.

Over two and half days, educators hold pre-scheduled, one-to-one business meetings with relevant and quality recruitment agents, with the dual objective of appointing new representatives and maintaining existing business relationships. In addition to appointments with agents, educational institutions can also meet with each other to set up exchange programmes, twinning arrangements and other joint ventures.

With personal contacts being so important in this part of the world, the workshop schedule also includes workshop meals, refreshment breaks and evening receptions which offer further valuable networking opportunities in a relaxed atmosphere.

Agents are carefully screened and pre-selected by ICEF and come from 20 countries around the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. They have an active interest to partner with international educational institutions providing a range of language, university, vocational and secondary school programmes.
