ICEF Secondary Education Budapest will be held at the 5-star InterContinental Hotel. Located on the Danube Promenade with stunning views of both the river and the historic castle district — one of Budapest’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites — the hotel is just a few steps away from landmarks such as the Chain Bridge, St. Stephen’s Basilica, and the bustling Váci Street. There was enough time to speak with each school representative and, during the breaks, I also had the chance to connect with others who were not on my official schedule. I especially enjoyed the boat trip along the Seine. The only thing I felt I was missing a little was some extra support at the beginning, since it was my first time. It would have been helpful to have someone briefly explain the daily agenda for each of the days, as I had to ask around to find out the details.
