The ICEF Japan-Korea Roadshow provides the opportunity for educational institutions to meet and leverage the expertise of ICEF-screened agents to recruit students from two important source markets, where making personal connections is crucial to long-term success.
Japan and Korea offer a range of opportunities for recruitment professionals. With its expansive internationalisation strategy, Japan has seen continued growth in outbound student numbers, with the Japanese government aiming to send 500,000 students abroad by 2033. South Korea, meanwhile, despite a decline in overall numbers, has huge potential, with around a third of South Korean families eager to secure study abroad opportunities for their children.
Running from February 24 – 26 2026, the roadshow includes one-day networking events in both Tokyo and Seoul, providing an efficient and cost-effective way to meet a large number of quality agents focused on these two key locations.
Please note: places at this roadshow are strictly limited and it is not possible to book only one location.
At the ICEF Japan-Korea Roadshow, you can build your own personalised programme from up to 38 (19 in each location), one-to-one meetings with existing and potential partners. The roadshow starts in Tokyo on February 24th, before arriving in Seoul for a second day of meetings on the 26th.
Each meeting day includes lunch, refreshment breaks, and a dinner reception, providing further, valuable networking opportunities.
The ICEF Japan – Korea Roadshow is held at two venues – the Keio Plaza Hotel in Tokyo, and the Lotte Hotel, Seoul.
The Keio Plaza Hotel is located in Tokyo’s bustling business and shopping district, Shinjuku. With twelve restaurants, a fully equipped business centre, as well as complimentary high-speed internet access in guest rooms, the Keio Plaza offers excellent facilities for business travel.
The Lotte Hotel, Seoul is one of the city’s most renowned hotels. Located in the heart of Seoul, the Lotte offers world-class amenities including spacious guest rooms, nine restaurants, a gym, as well as exceptional business and conference facilities.
