ICEF Taiwan is our first event to focus specifically on this vibrant Asian student market, enabling international educators to promote their programmes and make valuable connections with its top agents. With the local government aiming for Taiwan to become a bilingual English-Mandarin society by 2030, it is one of the world’s top 20 ELT source markets. Higher education abroad is also in high demand, with the US being the top destination, followed by Australia, the UK, Ireland and Canada, with growing interest in European and Asian destinations.
The 1.5-day Taipei event will take place shortly after ICEF China in Shanghai on 20-21 October, offering educators a cost-effective opportunity to further increase their enrolments by attending both events in one trip.
The event begins with a seminar programme, led by industry experts and focusing on the latest regional trends, before delegates have the opportunity to attend a welcome reception, where they can introduce themselves to potential partners and reconnect with existing colleagues.
On the second day, delegates build their own personalised programme of up to 19 one-to-one meetings, connecting with quality, ICEF-screened education agents from across Taiwan.
This event is exclusively for quality, ICEF-screened agents from Taiwan, a society that values English language skills and higher education, with families willing to support students to study abroad. This is seen as a route to better career prospects, both internationally and within Taiwan, making it ideal for international institutions looking to expand and diversify their enrolments, as well as industry-related service providers looking to build their brand.
ICEF Taiwan will be held at the Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel. With 683 luxurious rooms and state-of-the-art meeting facilities, the Sheraton also offers spa and fitness amenities, including an outdoor pool, as well as world-class international cuisine in its restaurants and bars.
Conveniently located within walking distance of Taipei’s main railway station, the Sheraton is in the Zhongzheng District, home to the Taipei Botanical Garden, the National Museum of History, the National Theatre and Concert Hall and the National Central Library.
