The IAS Adjudication Board is an independent body responsible for reviewing reported breaches of the ICEF Agency Code of Conduct. It operates separately from ICEF’s commercial activities and applies defined procedures to ensure impartial review.
Board members collectively represent higher education, secondary education, vocational education and training, and language education. They include both education providers and experienced education agents, drawn from major student source markets and leading study destinations worldwide. This composition ensures that decisions are informed by practical, first-hand understanding across different sectors, markets, and operating models.
When a concern is raised, ICEF gathers relevant information, liaises with the parties involved, and presents the case to the Adjudication Board. The Board conducts its own impartial assessment and determines whether a breach has occurred and applies outcomes in line with IAS procedures. Where necessary, outcomes may include guidance, corrective measures, or, where warranted, changes to IAS status, including suspension or withdrawal. The process is designed to uphold standards while ensuring fairness, proportionality, and due process.
