The ICEF North America Workshop

Miami, December 05 - 07, 2010

Meet quality student recruitment agents from around the world sending students to the US and Canada

Educational agents meeting educators in Miami

Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami • December 05 - 07, 2010

The United States and Canada are top international study destinations and thus play an active role in the $30 billion annual international education industry. The US remains the number one and Canada the 7th most popular study destinations, according to the Atlas of Student Mobility published by the Institute of International Education (IIE).

In 2009, the sold out ICEF North America Workshop brought 176 educators from 140 educational institutions in the US and Canada to Miami to meet with 209 agents from 52 countries around the world.

Continuing this success, the second ICEF North America Workshop in Toronto, May 2010 also sold out with 180 educators and over 250 international student recruitment agents from more than 50 countries meeting in Canada. This further reflects the growing number of American and Canadian educators looking to work with high-quality agents.

All student recruitment agents attending the North America Workshop undergo ICEF’s thorough selection and screening process which is considered to be the most stringent in the industry. Along with providing detailed information about their business and references from current educator partners, agents must demonstrate a clear focus on sending students to North America.

Educators are able to pre-schedule one-to-one business appointments with agents from all over the world including those from the IIE’s top 20 sending countries. The ICEF version of the eSchedule PRO online appointment scheduler allows educators to select agents by country and education sector – meaning educators only meet agents that fit with their student recruitment objectives.

ICEF seminars are known as some of the most comprehensive in the industry. Workshop participants benefit from a half day of seminars, where industry leaders share valuable insights on the latest trends affecting international education. We are pleased to announce that the United States Department of Commerce, and a number of other state/regional government associations will offer presentations at the ICEF North America Workshop in Miami.

The ICEF North America Workshop is an ideal opportunity for American and Canadian institutions to benefit from a large number of top quality agents who are committed to increasing international student enrollments in North America.
