The third ICEF Higher Education Workshop grew by 8% over the previous year and was the largest ever so far. The 2009 event in Madrid enabled 64 educators from 19 countries and 6 continents to hold pre-scheduled, one-to-one business appointments with 85 high quality recruitment agents from 37 countries around the globe.

The 2010 ICEF Higher Education Workshop will take place in Paris, France. The venue for the event is appropriately located between Sorbonne and the new Cité Universitaire, two important Parisian Higher Education centres.

The ICEF Higher Education Workshop is a specialised recruitment event for officially accredited international universities, colleges, select providers of foundation and pathway courses, education related service providers and quality student recruitment agents from around the world.

An integral factor in the success of this workshop is that all agents undergo rigorous pre-screening and must demonstrate competence and focus in sending students to tertiary institutions.

In addition to meeting with agents and service providers, educators may also meet with each other to discuss exchange programmes, twinning arrangements and joint ventures. In total up to 26 pre-scheduled, 30 minute long meetings can be arranged.

ICEF seminars are known as some of the most comprehensive in the industry. Workshop participants benefit from a half day of seminars, where industry leaders share valuable insights on the latest trends affecting international Higher Education.

Once again this event will take place just prior, and with easy access to the Annual Conference of the European Association for International Education (EAIE) in Nantes, France. Each year thousands of education professionals attend the EAIE conference to discuss and share ideas on the internationalisation of higher education in Europe and around the world.
