The ICEF Higher Education Workshop
Meet quality Higher Education-focused student recruitment agents from all over the world

The 2007 ICEF Higher Education Workshop matched accredited universities with carefully screened student recruitment agents from around the world, hosting 92 participants from 35 countries. A resounding 100% of attendees rated the event as either excellent or good. Only quality agents with expertise in the Higher Education sector were invited to attend, a key factor in the workshop’s success.
The ICEF Higher Education event reflects two important trends in international education:
- Universities are expanding their international student recruitment efforts, as the number of international students is set to triple to 8 million by 2025 (source: OECD).
- Education agents in many world markets are increasingly focused on Higher Education programmes.
ICEF provides a unique and convenient platform for universities to hold one to one meetings with agents and network during social events. They are also able to meet with other universities to discuss exchange programmes, twinning arrangements and joint ventures. The 2008 ICEF Higher Education Workshop will be held from September 7 to 9 in Antwerp, Belgium, just prior to the 20th Annual Conference of the European Association for International Education (EAIE).
