The Federation of English Language Teaching Organisations Malta (FELTOM) is Malta’s only officially recognised ELT association, committed to driving high standards in the TEFL sector. Established in 1989 by nine forward-thinking language schools, FELTOM has played a key role in shaping the industry for over 35 years, supporting students looking to study in Malta, language schools seeking accreditation, and industry professionals seeking to collaborate.
This trip is open to qualified education agents, counsellors, and representatives from organisations involved in international student recruitment. FELTOM reserves the right to assess the suitability of applicants based on their background, market activity, and alignment with the goals of the FAM Trip.
All participants must submit an expression of interest through the official form. Submissions will be reviewed, and selected participants will be contacted directly by FELTOM. Submission does not guarantee a place.
A limited number of fully sponsored places are available. These cover in-country expenses only (accommodation, meals, local transport, activities, and entrance fees). Flights and airport transfers are not included. FELTOM will select recipients based on eligibility criteria, including geographic representation and recruitment potential.
The itinerary is subject to change. FELTOM reserves the right to adjust activities, timings, or visits if required, including changes due to weather, operational needs, or availability.
The estimated cost for non-sponsored participants is €1,200. This may be adjusted slightly depending on the final group size and programme refinements. Full payment details will be provided upon acceptance. Payment is required in advance to confirm participation.
Participants are responsible for arranging their own flights and any visa required for travel to Malta. FELTOM can provide a letter of invitation upon request, but cannot guarantee visa approval. We recommend applying early to allow for processing time.
If you are accepted and later need to cancel, please inform FELTOM as soon as possible. Refunds (where applicable) may be subject to cancellation fees. Sponsored participants who cancel at short notice or fail to attend without a valid reason may affect their eligibility for future programmes.
Participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully at all times during the trip. FELTOM reserves the right to withdraw a participant’s place in the event of inappropriate conduct.
By participating in the trip, you consent to being photographed and/or filmed. FELTOM may use these images for promotional and reporting purposes, unless you opt out in writing before the event.
Personal data submitted during the application process will be used solely for the administration of this event, in accordance with GDPR and ICEF and FELTOM’s privacy policy.
