The information below is advisory, we recommend you check your own visa requirements with your local embassy.
The New Zealand Government requires some visitors and transit passengers to have a visa. Others do not need a visa, but do need an New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA). You will not need both. Some people, including those travelling on Australian passports, do not need a visa or an NZeTA. Visit immigration.govt.nz/nzeta to find out which you need.
You must apply for an NZeTA if you have a passport from one of these countries. Apply for your NZeTA at least 72 hours before departure through the official mobile app or website.
If you are applying for a general visitor visa, you need an invitation letter issued to you by ICEF confirming your participation in the event. If you wish to register for this service, please contact visasupport@icef.com as soon as possible. This service will be offered until February 04th.
Please ensure that visa applications are submitted well before your intended travel date. It is recommended you apply at least 6 weeks in advance. Please also ensure that you check whether your proposed travel route will require any transit visas (Eg. Australia) and allow sufficient time to obtain these.
