At ICEF we are committed to fostering the highest possible quality of student recruitment agent. Developed during ICEF’s 20+ years in the industry, our extensive selection process takes into consideration the specific needs of different types of educators and an agent’s ability to meet these requirements.
ICEF has the industry’s largest agent relations team. Our Agent Team is made up of 15 Agent Relations Managers (ARMs), supported by part-time staff, whose core focus is recruiting quality agents. Each agent application is carefully reviewed and verified, and positive references are personally checked. Our ARMs are experts in their specific markets and know which agents best serve key educational sectors. Applications by agents to take part in our events are also reviewed to ensure agents embrace the highest standards of business ethics and personal conduct.
Once an agency is accepted for an ICEF event, their file is regularly reviewed, and their performance during and after ICEF events is also monitored. We hold our agents to the highest standard at all times and maintain a blacklist of those who do not meet our standards of professionalism.
The foundation of our quality control process is a database of more than 20 000 international education agents built up over the last 20 years. This database is managed by our Agent Relations team, comprised of 14 Agent Relations Managers, each of whom specialises in markets in particular regions.
To maintain our database, Agent Relations Managers (ARMs) keep in touch with agents’ associations, ministries of education, and embassies as well as other relevant organisations around the world, including government bodies and certification boards related to education. Our ARMs review developments in their markets and regularly identify new agents through web research and attendance at education events.
Developed during ICEF’s 20+ years in the industry, our screening process takes into consideration the specific needs of educators and the agents’ ability to meet these as part of an extensive process.
