Among the world’s top study destinations, Canada has achieved the fastest enrolment growth over the last decade. 2022 saw 30% year-over-year growth alone and a record high enrolment of more than 800,000 foreign students.
It is perhaps not surprising that challenges have also accompanied that rapid growth. And indeed there have been increasing media reports of questionable recruitment practices and poor quality services for students.
India has been an important part of the Canadian story, and Indian students now account for nearly four out of every ten foreign enrolments in Canada. But does Canada have the balance right? And how best to ensure that students are receiving professional services from agents at home and an excellent study experience once in Canada?
This session will feature a special panel discussion with leading practitioners as we explore best practices for recruitment in the context of these surging student numbers.
