📝 Description

The importance of the Indian market as a major driver of global growth in student mobility is on display, with an important milestone reached in 2022 when India overtook China as the largest source country of international students. A growth that is set to continue: by 2024, the number of Indian students overseas is set to reach 1.8 million, generating more than US$75 billion in total spending.

In parallel, the international student recruitment industry is going through an unprecedented transformation, with the rapid introduction and implementation of digital recruitment tools whilst at the same time external factors such as geopolitical conflict, inflation and climate change each have an important impact on the international education sector as a whole.

In this panel discussion we will review all these factors and discuss the outlooks and scenarios for successful student recruitment from the Indian subcontinent.
