PIER and ICEF launch a free qualified education agent mobile/tablet app, providing a global listing of over 5,000 qualified counsellors recruiting students for education institutions worldwide.
Available as native phone applications on both iOS(Apple) and Android operating systems, the QEA App (Qualified Education Agents) displays agencies according to their proximity to the mobile phone user. When on the move, marketing professionals can use the app to:
[slitem]navigate to an agency office;[/slitem]
[slitem]get a clear representation of the coverage of their institution’s agency network in a particular region.[/slitem]
Students can search for qualified agents close to their current location, and designate which country’s qualification is preferred (out of the main student destination countries: Australia, the US, Canada, and the UK).
Recruitment counsellors and their host agencies are listed on the service when they have completed one of the recognised training programs offered by PIER, ICEF, and the British Council. The app does not support advertising of any kind or allow individuals to pay to list their details.
Chris Evason, PIER Managing Director, notes: “Our aim is to provide a value-added service to those professional agencies and individuals who have invested the time to properly train in educational recruitment. We think that both students and institutions want instant mobile access to information about quality agent services.”
Markus Badde, CEO of ICEF adds: “This is a ground-breaking app that should be on every education professional’s phone. If you work for an institution, why not have the location and contact of every reputable agent at your finger-tips?”
The QEA app gives the most comprehensive representation of education agent coverage worldwide currently publicly available.
