ICEF USA is designed exclusively for educators from the United States and supports strategic international enrollment management. Bringing international student recruitment agents from around the world to San Diego, the event provides the perfect introduction to working with agents in a supportive, friendly, and highly productive environment.

For this event, ICEF only accepts agencies that have achieved ICEF Agency Status, which means they have undergone a more rigorous screening and reference checking process. Why attend ICEF USA?

Event programme & meetings

This 1.5-day event begins with a welcome reception, giving attendees the opportunity to network and make introductions. Newcomers and ICEF regulars alike will benefit from sharing experiences with their peers and interacting with agents in a relaxed setting. 

On the second day, attendees can build their own personalised programme of up to 24 one-to-one meetings, connecting with quality, accredited education agents from around the world to achieve their internationalisation goals. 

Who attends ICEF USA

ICEF USA is perfect for universities and colleges from the United States considering working with agents for the first time. Institutions attending NAFSA can directly apply the knowledge gained from the conference sessions and pre-conference workshops, some of which focus on working with agents. NAFSA conference attendees receive a 10% discount on ICEF USA participation and vice versa – ICEF attendees receive a 10% discount on NAFSA registration.

Agents attending ICEF USA must represent ICEF IAS accredited agencies and will also receive a 10% discount on their NAFSA conference registration.

Located in the heart of San Diego, close to the Convention Center, the Gaslamp Quarter and Petco Park, the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina Hotel offers stunning views of both the city and a private marina on the waterfront.
