If you choose to dine for breakfast at Market & Co, we are pleased to extend the special group rate of $25.00 per person which will automatically be applied to your reservation.

Visa Requirements

All visitors to Australia must have a valid visa to travel to and enter Australia (except New Zealand passport holders who will normally be granted a special category visa on arrival). You will need to apply for a visitor visa.

eVisitor (subclass 651)
European Union (EU) and some other European passport holders are eligible to apply online for an eVisitor (subclass 651).

Electronic Travel Authority – ETA (subclass 601)
The following passport holders can apply for an ETA (subclass 601) using the Australian ETA app: Brunei, Canada, Hong Kong (SAR of China), Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and the USA.

Visitor visa (subclass 600)
All other nationalities not eligible for eVisitor or ETA need to apply for a Business visitor visa (subclass 600).

Please note that ICEF can only provide you with a letter of invitation for the duration of the event (April 12 – 14). If you require a letter of invitation, please contact Chiara Spadano. Deadline for invitation letter requests is March 12, 2023.

Arrival in Perth

Perth Airport

It is located approximately 8 kilometres from Crown Perth. The drive from the airport to the Crown Perth or any of our partner hotels will take approximately 11 minutes depending on traffic.

Taxis The main taxi service providers in Perth are Black & White Cabs and Swan Taxis. Taxi ranks are located at the front of all terminals – simply follow the signs to the nearest taxi ranks. A taxi rank can also be found on Valentine Road within the General Aviation area. You may be asked by your taxi driver to pay your fare in advance. A $4 fee is added to your fare if you’re catching a taxi from the terminals.

Rideshare Perth Airport has dedicated rideshare pick-up areas to service all terminals. DiDi, Ola and Uber ridesharing services are available at Perth Airport. Please wait until you have collected your luggage and are ready to leave the airport before requesting your ride through the Ola or Uber app. There are dedicated rideshare pick-up bays within easy walking distance of each terminal. Simply follow the directions given in the app and terminal signage to the nearest rideshare pick-up bay. A $4 airport fee applies to all pick-ups at Perth Airport.

Public Transport : From Perth Airport Terminals 1 and 2, you can take Bus Route 37, which operates between Airport Central and Oats Street Station via Belmont Forum 7 days a week.

Forwarding of Promotional Material

Your materials for ICEF ANZA can arrive from Thursday April 06, 2023 in Perth (but not before) allowing you sufficient time to check if your packages have been delivered correctly. Please contact a courier of your choice. It is very important that you include a proforma invoice. Inspections of deliveries with incomplete documents can take up to four weeks.

Package Preparation
When calculating the amount of promotional materials to send to Perth please bear in mind that you will have a maximum of 36 pre-scheduled meetings.

Please refer to the Shipping Instructions & Delivery Label for detailed information, customs requirements and a delivery label template.

As we recommend to reduce the use of paper, you can also upload up to five documents (max size of 5 MB each), three videos (YouTube, Dailymotion and Vimeo links are supported) and up to eight photos (max size of 5 MB each) into your Marcom eSchedule PRO profile and make them available to agents prior to, during and for four weeks after the event.

Scheduling Meetings

Scheduling meetings prior to the event

Approximately three weeks prior to the event you will receive access to the Marcom eSchedule PRO online meeting scheduling platform. Marcom eSchedule PRO allows you to select potential partners according to geographical origin or type of programmes and to send personalised meeting requests. We recommend to schedule a minimum of 25 meetings prior to the event.

Meetings will take place at your designated meeting table or booth, indicated on your schedule. If you are using Marcom eSchedule PRO for the first time, we recommend that you review the following information: Getting Started |  Scheduling Meetings – Useful Hints & Tips | Video tutorials.

Scheduling meetings during the event

To make the most of your participation, you can still schedule meetings with other participants once the event has started. Last minute meetings can be scheduled up to one hour before the requested meeting time.

We recommend that you leave Marcom eSchedule PRO open throughout the event to keep an eye on any new meeting invitations that may come through. Please regularly refresh your eSchedule PRO page to make sure that it’s always up to date with the latest requests.

Meeting and Booths

Meeting tables  will be accessible as of 07:00 am on Thursday, April 13th.

Each meeting table (180cm x 60cm) will be covered with a table cloth and will have access to an electricity outlet.

Table signage with name and logo of each institution will be provided.

Booths will be accessible as of 15:30 on Wednesday the 12th and  from 7am on Thursday the 13th.

You will receive and email from PerthExpo with all the details about your booth and the instruction on how to customise it.

On-site Check-in

You will be able to collect your badge and welcome pack on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 12:00 to 18:00 at the ICEF hospitality and registration desk located near the Crown Ballroom on the Ground Level of the Crown Perth Convention Centre.

Participants arriving after this can register on Thursday, April 13 from 8:00 onwards in the same location.

As this is an invitation only event, anyone not wearing a badge may not be admitted into the event area. Please also understand that for the same reason we cannot allow non-registered family, friends or staff to enter the meeting hall.

COVID-19 Safety

The venue will adhere to strict hygiene regulations as enforced by the government of Western Australia. Face masks are not mandatory in Western Australia, but they should be worn in crowded indoor spaces and where physical distancing is not possible.

We are working closely with the venue and local authorities to ensure that we can deliver a safe event. As requirements might change we will update you regularly with the latest information.

Refreshments and Lunches

Snacks and refreshments are available on April 12 at 16:30, on April 13 at 11:00 as well as at 16:00 and on April 14 at 10:00 as well as at 15:50.
Lunch will be provided at 13:00 on April 13 and April 14  in the Crown Ballroom 1 and 2 on the Ground Level of the Crown Perth Convention Centre.

Evening Networking Receptions

Welcome Reception

Wednesday April 12, 18:00 to 21:00 at Optus Stadium is sponsored by Study Perth.

Please wear comfortable shoes as we will be walking (for 10 mins) along a pavement beside the river to reach the venue.
Please meet at the ICEF registration desk and be ready to leave from the Crown Convention Centre (near Crown Towers) at 6pm.
Do let us know if you have any mobility issues. Buses will be provided for the return trip.

Dinner Reception

Thursday, April 13, 19:30 to 23:30 in the Crown Ballroom.

The dress code for both receptions is smart casual. Please note that participants not wearing their event badge will not be admitted. Please register your attendance by clicking the green “Yes, I will attend” button on your MySchedule page.

Perth – General Information

Perth is the capital of Western Australia. The city, the fourth largest in Australia, is the centre of a metropolitan area containing about three-fourths of the state’s population.

Quick facts:

  • Time zone: GMT + 8 hours.
  • Climate: In autumn (April), Perth experiences warm, sunny days and cooler nights with average temperatures from 14 to 26°C (56.6 – 78.8°F). There can be occasional showers and some humidity.

  • Plug type: Plugs have three flat pins in a triangular pattern. Please bring your own adaptors, if necessary.
