About this event

ICEF Latin America is the largest agent networking event focused on this important region. In 2018, the event enabled 144 educators from 16 countries to hold over 3 400 pre-scheduled meetings with 200 quality agents from 10 Latin American countries.

In 2019, ICEF Latin America will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and is a convenient location for all event participants. The event provides an excellent opportunity for international educators from all sectors to consolidate existing partnerships, as well as establish new ones with quality, screened student recruitment agents. Reflecting the market size, and importance, approximately ¾ of the agents at this event will come from Brazil.

Participants may also attend various seminars, expert panels, and presentations; each providing valuable insights into the latest trends and research affecting international education. In addition, event attendees benefit from numerous informal networking opportunities including lunches, coffee breaks, a cocktail reception and an official gala.

“I always attend ICEF South America (since 2010). It was really helpful for us to do new business and find quality institutions from many different countries. It is very well organized and everything works. I really enjoy coming.” - Helena Rodrigues, Clubclass Language Schools, Malta.

“The event was very well organised and provided educators with great support. Marcom Onsite was a very useful tool for checking the schedule and managing last minute meetings. Overall, it was a productive event.” - Camilla De Jesus Nunes, Virginia International University, USA.

“I was very happy with the amount of agents interested in our courses. My meetings were booked out within one day of the schedule opening. I had double the amount of requests for meetings than spots available. The quality of agents is outstanding and the organisation of the event was fantastic. I highly recommend this to education providers who are looking to increase their presence in the Latin market.” - Sherelyn Hallam, ACCCO - Australian Child Care Career Options, Australia.

“The networking of educators and agents is very useful during all parts of the event. Very new! Very good!” - Ricardo Costa Jr., Accademia Europea di Firenze, Italy.

“The size of this event is what makes us come year after year, as this enables meeting people easier and more effective.” - Sarah Scerri, English Language Academy – ELA, Malta.

“Great event and for sure I want to attend another one in the future. Very organised, excellent seminars and all facilities available were good.” - Sergio Kamide Junior, Edu-Inter, Canada.

“ICEF was good. For us the Brazilian market is big and a lot of agents were very interested in our institution. Hope we can see the results soon.” - Carolina Borrell, St Peter Institute, Australia.
