FAM Tours & Receptions

Agent familiarisation (FAM) tours and receptions are excellent ways for you to gain exposure and promote your institution and / or association to workshop registered agents.

FAM tours allow you to take advantage of the large number of agents attending the workshop and attract them to visit your institution, campus and region. Effective FAM tours highlight a region and its various education options (universities, colleges, secondary schools, language schools) enabling the agent to increase their product knowledge and bring back first hand experience and information to potential students.

Download the FAM Tour guidelines and proposal form.

Receptions allow you to host agents in a memorable way while reinforcing your brand. Inviting the agents that you wish to target gives you the chance to make meaningful and focused connections in a relaxed and fun environment.

Agents looking for K-12 schools

Description:

For International Agents who are involved in K-12 attending the ICEF North America Workshop, come and experience our charm and warmth. Montréal is the only North American city listed by the New York Times, in December 2011, as one of the Hip Cities. Unique elements such as vibrant arts, cultural scene, high quality of life, low living costs, bilingualism, and strong European influences make Montréal a most desirable place to live and thrive.
Departing from the ICEF event hotel, Hilton Montréal Bonaventure, we will tour the Notre-Dame Basilica in Old Montréal. With its dazzling combination of blue and gold, the Basilica is a place like no other in Montréal – once seen, never forgotten. We shall also visit the Mount Royal Chalet which was inaugurated in 1932. The walls of its spacious interior are decorated with pictures tracing the history on Montréal, including many painted by famous artists. The Kondiaronk scenic lookout in front of the chalet offers a spectacular view of the downtown area and the St. Lawrence River. What a wonderful place to capture the energy of Montréal, rest your eyes on the horizon, and dream.
Our day will also include visiting 2 EMSB High Schools where you will have the opportunity to tour the facilities, speak to and interact with our administrators and students, and experience the diversity of our schools. Lunch will be served at Rosemount High School.
Please confirm your attendance by March 30th, 2012. Please e-mail your full name, organization name, and all members of your organization that plan to attend our FAM tour to intstudentemsb.qcca
