Visa Information

Please contact your local Turkish Consulate or Embassy and enquire about visa regulations for your particular country and how to obtain a visa. As the visa procedures can be rather time consuming we recommend to obtain this information as soon as possible. Please note that it is your responsibility to make the necessary arrangements for an appointment at your nearest Consulate or Embassy and to ensure you will have enough time to have the visa processed prior to the event. Please note that as of April 17, 2013, electronic visa (e-Visa) have replaced the old “sticker visa” which were previously issued at the border crossing. Therefore please check carefully if you should apply for an e-Visa before your departure.

Elegible eVisitor countries include:
Antigua and Barbuda, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Bahrain, Barbados, Belarus, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus, Grenada, Haiti, Hong Kong (BN(O)), Hungary, Indonesia, Ireland, Jamaica, Kuwait, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, U.S.A, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom.

The citizens of the following countries are also eligible for an eVisitor visa, provided that they comply with some criteria:
Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola, Bangladesh, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, China, Comoros, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, India, Iraq, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mexico, Moldova, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Rwanda, São Tomé and Príncipe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Swaziland, Taiwan, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

If you need a visa and require a letter of invitation, please contact Irina Maier for further assistance. Please note that ICEF can only provide you with a letter of invitation for the duration of the workshop from September 14 to 16, 2013. Deadline for invitation letter requests is August 14, 2013.
