The ICEF Berlin Workshop
Berlin, October 31 - November 02, 2010
Connecting international educators and work & travel professionals with the world’s best agents

Hotel InterContinental, Berlin • October 31 - November 02, 2010
The ICEF Berlin Workshop is the most important annual event for education travel and student recruitment professionals worldwide. Recognised as the best and most comprehensive forum for international educators, premium agents and leading industry service providers, it surpasses all others in terms of quality, diversity and opportunity.
Educators hold pre-scheduled business meetings over two days with rigorously screened student recruitment agents. These meetings serve the dual purpose of selecting and appointing new representatives as well as catching up with existing partners. Breaks and social gatherings also allow participants to develop and establish additional relationships in a more relaxed setting.
In its 15th year, the 2009 ICEF Berlin Workshop brought 1740 participants from 97 countries and 6 continents, the most ever at an ICEF event, together in one convenient location.
Between 60 – 80% of international students book their courses through recruitment agents (Atlas of Student Mobility). Easy access to quality agents is key to boosting student numbers in a cost effective way. Educators at the 2009 Berlin Workshop had the opportunity to meet a record 860 agents from 92 countries around the world – an increase of 16% over the previous year. In total 22 744 pre-scheduled business meetings were held – confirming the ICEF Berlin Workshop as the largest agent networking event of its kind.
The Work & Travel Zone is a dedicated area for international buyers and sellers of work and travel, apprenticeship, internship, volunteer, au pair and gap programmes. It provides educators and agents with the opportunity to augment their products beyond traditional study programmes and provide their students with exciting work opportunities abroad.
An extensive Market Intelligence Seminar programme and various industry presentations are held on the first day of the Berlin Workshop. In these seminars participants gain valuable insight into industry trends and research affecting international education.
The ICEF Berlin Workshop is the most efficient and cost-effective way to meet quality international education professionals face-to-face and under one roof. The ICEF Berlin Workshop provides you with thoroughly screened agents, information on the latest industry developments, outstanding social networking opportunities, seamless organisation and most importantly, real business benefits in terms of increased student enrolments.
