Engage with territories across Africa as outbound student mobility continues to grow
In 2024, ICEF Africa will head to Kigali, Rwanda, for a specialist networking event connecting international educators with African higher education institutions, as well as ICEF-screened student recruitment agents from 25 countries across Africa.
Sub-Saharan Africa continues to show exceptional growth in international education, with Nigeria consistently ranking in the top ten countries in the world for outbound student mobility. Alongside Nigeria, Kenya has a rapidly growing ‘youth bulge’, with 25% of the Kenyan population aged 18-36, while Ghana, Uganda, Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Zimbabwe, Senegal, Tanzania and Rwanda have all seen significant increases in student interest in studying abroad.
Held at the Kigali Convention Centre from 02-04 July 2024, ICEF Africa provides valuable access to this important range of student markets and a unique opportunity to network with high quality, pre-screened student recruitment partners, as well as universities from across the continent looking to send students abroad, and to discuss alliances, exchange agreements and Transnational Education (TNE) opportunities.
