Delegates at the ICEF China Workshop gathered in Beijing from October 14-16. The workshop featured a special training session for Chinese universities and EATC certification testing for agents. Next up: the ICEF Berlin Workshop (November 1-3) will have a record turnout for the eighth consecutive year, including the highest-ever attendance of more than 900 agents from over 650 agencies representing nearly 100 countries.

Universities Achieve Global Reach in Madrid

The annual ICEF Higher Education Workshop continues to expand with 8% growth this year. Forty-six accredited institutions from 19 countries met with 85 ICEF-screened agents from 37 countries during the 2009 workshop in Madrid from September 13-15.

The inaugural ICEF Latin America Workshop in Sao Paulo, Brazil was packed with both business opportunities and a rich social/cultural programme. It gave educators from 85 institutions in 30 countries the chance to meet with 137 ICEF-screened agents from all over Latin America.
