The 2008 ICEF Higher Education Workshop will bring higher education representatives together with carefully selected recruitment agents from September 7 to 9 in Antwerp, Belgium, just prior to the 20th Annual Conference of the European Association for International Education (EAIE). ICEF's ongoing series of intensive market intelligence seminars is an integral component of the Higher Education Workshop, and this year's conference program for Antwerp is now available on the ICEF website. Saudi Arabia Drives Regional Growth: The Middle East region accounts for a growing share of the world's international students. The ICEF Moscow Workshop 2008 (March 28–30) reached record numbers with 15% growth over last year's event and 31% growth since 2005. ICEF in Washington, D.C. for the NAFSA Conference ICEF CEO Markus Badde will lead a special panel discussion on working with international education agents at the upcoming annual conference for NAFSA: Association of International Educators in Washington, D.C. The conference runs from May 25–30, and Markus' seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, May 28, from 3:45 p.m.–5:00 p.m. in Room 204C at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. In addition, ICEF will be an exhibitor at the conference (booth #1205) and will sponsor the 2008 AAIEP Reception (American Association of Intensive English Programs) at the University of California Washington Center on Thursday, May 29, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. |
