Training and Development Survey Results

ICEF recently circulated a training and development survey to educator and agent contacts around the world. More than 800 respondents from 115 countries returned completed surveys—an important step in ensuring that our expanded programme of market intelligence seminars will continue to be designed according to client preferences.

Overview of training and development survey responses by respondent category.

“Recruiting and managing education agents”, “Internet marketing”, and “practical steps in student recruitment” were among the top professional development subjects chosen by both education providers and agents. These responses will be reflected immediately in the seminar topics for upcoming ICEF workshops and will also be taken into account in planning for potential half-day to two-day ICEF training sessions at various world sites in 2007. In the meantime, please see the ICEF website for a detailed overview of survey results.

Among the survey respondents were three lucky winners who have received a free registration for a future ICEF training session:

Yumiko Fukuda
Marketing Manager, Ryugaku Journal Inc. World, Tokyo, Japan

Dr. Roger Alexander
Director, UNSW Foundation Studies, Sydney, Australia

Ana Gudkova
International Programmes Coordinator, Open World Education Group,
Moscow, Russia

A special thank you to all who responded to the survey, and a reminder to look for more market intelligence updates in future issues of the ICEF Bulletin.
